Entry Lock and Smart Lock are DIY-friendly replacements on compatible doors. Compared with Easy Fit, allow more time for measuring and fitting. Supplied screws may need trimming as described in the manual, and the door hinges or strike plate may need adjustment for smooth operation. Check compatibility first and ask an installer for help with unfamiliar adjustments.
Always confirm door compatibility before purchase. Easy Fit keypad access methods require the compatible keypad.

Look at the thumbturn, cylinder and handle plate.
Door thickness
Measure the door leaf, especially for Entry Lock and Smart Lock Fingerprint.
Locking points
Confirm whether the door is single-point or multipoint.
Lock case and strike
Check the current lock case, strike plate and available space.
Free movement
The door should lock and unlock smoothly without scraping or unusual force.

Special doors
Some doors need extra care.
Fire-rated doors, escape-route doors and doors with special certification should be checked before changing or adding hardware. If the door has special legal, safety or building requirements, ask a professional installer before purchasing.
